Huawei is expected to launch three new flagship smartphones by the end of this year. The phones are said to be the Huawei Mate 20, the Huawei Mate 20 Lite, and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The Mate 20 series will be the follow up of the recently announced P20 line up which includes the Huawei P20 and P20 Lite. According to rumours, the Mate 20 lineup will borrow the Porsche Design from the P20 series of phones, and also in-display fingerprint scanner and wireless charging functionality. Alongside the Mate 20, Huawei is said to be working on two more phones — Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 Lite. Now, let’s take a look at the expected specs of the Mate 20:The successor to the Mate 10, the Mate 20 is said to be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset which is also expected to go official at IFA keynote event alongside the new series. That being said, the Mate 20 will be the first Android smartphone to come with the HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, which is said to be the first system-on-chip to be manufactured on a 7nm process, meaning the upcoming Mate 20 will be a fast phone. Reports are also such that the Kirin 980 will bring improvements to both performance and battery of the phone. The chipset is said to improve the phone’s overall performance by up to 20 per cent and battery performance by up to 40 per cent.
