Flip phones may be so yesteryear, but, that hasn’t stopped South Korean major Samsung from investing in them. Even in 2017. The company just announced its new high-end flagship flip phone, aka the SM-G9298, in China. The SM-G9298 is successor to last year’s W2017 and going by the history of recent Samsung flip phones, this year’s version might just also end up being a China-only affair. This year’s SM-G9298 also goes by the name “Leader” by the way and considering that not many major companies are still into flip phones, chances are, this could well be the last of its kind. Unless Samsung brings out one more in the future. The new phone — Leader is a device which is a major upgrade over the Samsung’s W2017 flip phone, especially on the camera and processor front. The flip phone comes with a fast wireless charging technology on board.
