If he moves to Palace, it’d be a gamble, but investing in the big 25-year-old Belgian could pay off. Benteke has shown before at Villa why he can be a worthwhile fantasy signing, so can he rediscover his best form at Palace? 5: Andre Gray (Burnley) – £6.5m – Click the right arrow to see the next player – Burnley’s Andre Gray was last year’s Championship top scorer and so looks to be a bargain for his miniscule fee of just £6.5m. At least he will be if he can replicate his Championship form in the top flight, which will be no easy task. 10 10 8: Andy Carroll (West Ham) – £6.5m – Click the right arrow to see the next player – Carroll scored twice in West Ham’s final pre-season friendly against Juventus on Sunday, proving he is back firing again ahead of the new campaign. With a similar price tag to that of the newly promoted teams’ strikers, Carroll could be a bargain given the support he has around him in that West Ham team. 4: Harry Kane (Tottenham) – £11.0m – Click the right arrow to see the next player – Despite a disappointing Euros, Harry Kane is still last year’s Premier League Golden Boot winner and should not be ruled out of the running to repeat that feat in the new season. Is he worth £11.0m of your budget though? That’s up to you. 10 2: Troy Deeney (Watford) – £7.0m – Click the right arrow to see the next player – Watford’s Troy Deeney recorded an impressive goals tally last season, scoring 13 times in his first Premier League campaign. The Hornets’ captain will be looking to improve further this season, but it is worth taking into account Watford’s very difficult early fixtures before you decide to select him. 10 10 10 3: Jamie Vardy (Leicester) – £10.0m – Click the right arrow to see the next player – Leicester play Arsenal (H), Liverpool (A) and Man United (A) within their first six fixtures in what will be a make or break period for the new champions. Some think they’ll crumble early on, but, if not, their main man Jamie Vardy will surely prove to be well worth his vastly increased £10.0m fee. 10: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) – £13.0m – Click the right arrow to see the next player – Sergio Aguero scores goals. It’s really just as simple as that. His price tag is enormous, but you still can’t argue he’s not value for money as the Argentinian has netted 50 TIMES in his last two Premier League seasons combined. 10 7: Alvaro Negredo (Middlesbrough) – £6.5m – Click the right arrow to see the next player – Alvaro Negredo has experienced the Premier League before. In fact he won it with Man City in the 2013/14 season, recording nine goals and three assists in the process. A couple of years later, the ‘beast’ is back and, given his proven goalscoring record in England, could be a very wise buy for just £6.5m. 9: Shane Long (Southampton) – £6.5m – Click the right arrow to see the next player – Southampton have some convenient early home games against Watford, Sunderland and Swansea within their first six fixtures of the season. 15% of Fantasy Premier League players have spotted this already and selected Shane Long for their teams as a result. Perhaps you should do the same… 10 1: Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United) – £11.5m – Click the right arrow to see the next player – £11.5m for a player previously unproven in the Premier League is usually absolute extortion! However Zlatan Ibrahimovic is an exception to many rules and, should he adapt to English football as well as he has almost every other league in Europe, he could prove to be well worth his hefty price tag. 10 Selecting the three man strike force for your Fantasy Premier League team is arguably one of the toughest things you will have to do this year.Ensuring you pick some of the best goalscorers in the league up top is vital if you want to have success within your mini leagues and, with bragging rights at stake, you cannot afford to make a wrong move!Luckily for you, this list will help as it includes both the best cheap and the best expensive strikers in the country, ranked by their value for money rating.Check out which strikers you should sign by clicking the right arrow above…last_img
