LG Stylus 2 with HD display launched in India at Rs 20,500

first_imgLG has launched Stylus 2 in India. Although no formal media announcement has been made yet, the device is now listed on the company’s India website. Priced at Rs 20,500, it will be available in two colours — brown and titanium. Unlike many other phones that are only available on e-retail sites, the Stylus 2 will also be sold in offline channels. The smartphone, which competes with other big screen phones, is already on sale in LG’s native country South Korea.According to the specifications mentioned on LG’s India website, LG Stylus 2 is uses Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs in a 3000mAh removable battery. It has a 5.7 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Stylus 2 is a 4G smartphone and supports voice over LTE (VoLTE). It has support for dual-SIM feature — both Nano. It comes with 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM and 16 GB in-built storage, which is theoretically expandable to up to 2TB with a microSD card. To improve accuracy of the stylus, LG has introduced a fibre-tipped stylus along with this phone. Its predecessor had a stylus with rubber tip. The highlights of this new stylus include screen-off memo, pop memo, pop scanner and calligraphy pen mode. The screen-off memo enables the user to scribble note on the screen even when it is turned off while the calligraphy pen mode helps in writing with better looking scripts. The pop scanner allows a users to trace an object in a clicked picture and move it in different directions.
